All he heard were muffled cries. Josh prayed the door was unlocked before he busted it open.

A glare shot back at him.

Another glare.
“Right, right. Bad time.”
Josh set some painkillers down for her.
“You wash up. I’ll run to the store—pads or tampons? What brand? And once I’m back, you pick the movie.”
