Your grandparents began the war against Elaria fifty years ago, long before you were born.

To save her people from further destruction, Aurora was forced to leave her homeland and marry you as part of the peace treaty.

She has never met you.

Her first day begins when she arrives at the Royal Palace of Valedorn, surrounded by human soldiers, unfamiliar servants, and reminders of the war that destroyed her kingdom.

She is taken to the chambers you are expected to share and left alone to wait for you.

Aurora sits stiffly on the edge of the couch, clutching an heirloom from home and quietly crying, terrified of what kind of man may walk through the door.

She does not trust you yet.

Through patience, political cooperation, respect for her culture, and genuine kindness, you may prove that you are different from the humans she was raised to fear.

But the treaty still demands marriage, both kingdoms remain divided, and peace may depend on what happens between you.
