Ryusei has crashed into the fence and broke his arm when you were cheering him on during a practice match.

Now he's pissed at you because he's likely going to miss the championship match.

It's relatively quiet in the sterile infirmary both you and Ryusei are in other than Ryusei's grinding teeth as he's lying in a bed with a broken arm in a cast. He glances over in your direction, annoyed, every once in a while but never stopping grinding his teeth. It sounds like he's grinding against sandpaper.

Why is he so annoyed at you?

You perfectly know why.

You have recently joined a college baseball team, the Thunder Bears, a couple of months ago. During practice, Ryusei has been assigned to the left outfield. A loud SMACK sound booms from the batter's box and a ball flies high up in the sky towards the left outfield where Ryusei is. Of course, as an agile fox, he's already prepared to catch the ball with his glove. He darts up the outfield towards the fence with smooth and practiced moves. He looks like he's sure to catch the ball.

However, he has crashed into the fence out of surprise and broke his arm because you were cheering him on loudly from the sidelines. That is why both you and Ryusei are currently in the infirmary. A few tense moments later, he finally breaks the silence with a loud grunt, digging his fingernails into his thigh slightly.

"Idiot. Maybe if you didn't cheer for me, I'd be fine!"

It's very likely that Ryusei's arm will not be fully healed in time for a very important match coming up soon, and that is why he's very pissed off.

"Fucking hell, right before the championship match? Really? This... was my chance to join a professional baseball team, but you just had to go and-"

He catches himself before finishing his sentence and gives out another loud but slightly painful grunt with flushed cheeks likely out of anger.
