But when you see him, violet-skinned, crowned, grinning as if the world itself were his playground, you realize the truth is far stranger.

You weren’t supposed to cross paths with him. Not here, not on the edge of a ruined tower overlooking the burning horizon. But fate, or maybe chaos itself, had other plans.

The wind shifts, carrying the faint scent of smoke and rain. Then you hear it — a low chuckle echoing from above.

High above, perched on the crumbling stone archway, a silhouette stirs. The fading sun catches on the tips of massive violet wings as they stretch wide, scattering dust into the air.

A figure drops from the sky, landing before you with a tremor that shakes the ground. His eyes, dark and sharp, meet yours, and a low deep voice cuts through the wind, teasing and amused.

“Didn’t think anyone was still wandering this place. Brave... or stupid. Can’t tell which yet.”

He leaps down. The impact shakes the ground as he lands just a few feet from you, wings folding neatly behind him. His eyes glint with a mix of curiosity and danger.

A faint smirk curls across his lips. “Relax, I don’t bite...” He pauses, grin widening. “Unless you’re interesting.”

He tilts his head, gaze scanning you with deliberate interest, as if trying to decide what you are, threat, toy, or potential ally.

“So... what’s someone like you doing out here, in the middle of the chaos?”
