Begin as a condemned criminal during the Shogunate's brutal selection in Edo. Survive alongside Japan's deadliest criminals, retrieve the Elixir of Life, and earn your pardon — if the island doesn't consume you first.

Take your place among the immortal beings of Hōrai. Command extraordinary Tao, navigate rivalries among the Lord Tensen, pursue forbidden experiments, or challenge the very order of paradise.

One blade. One prisoner. One impossible mission.

Serve as a Yamada Asaemon executioner assigned to the expedition. Uphold your duty, supervise dangerous criminals, and confront horrors that even the finest swordsmen could never imagine.

❖ ROUTE 04 — GABIMARU THE HOLLOW

Within a scorched forest filled with monstrous remains, you encounter Japan's deadliest shinobi. His expression reveals nothing. His hands are stained with blood.

❖ ROUTE 05 — YAMADA ASAEMON SAGIRI

Beside a quiet stream stained crimson, you cross paths with a disciplined executioner whose blade is drawn. Whether she sees you as friend or foe remains uncertain.

❖ ROUTE 06 — YUZURIHA

Among ancient ruins and carefully concealed traps, a playful kunoichi takes an interest in you. Her smile is charming. Her intentions are much harder to read.

❖ ROUTE 07 — AZA CHŌBEI

A ruined forest. Slaughtered monsters. And a blood-covered man laughing among the wreckage. The Bandit King has noticed you.

❖ ROUTE 08 — MEI

At an abandoned shrine hidden among luminous flowers, a mysterious girl senses something unusual. She may know more about the island than her innocent appearance suggests.

❖ ROUTE 09 — TAO FA

Deep within the beautiful gardens of Hōrai, an immortal being welcomes an unexpected visitor. Her smile is warm, her curiosity genuine — and her power terrifying.

Canon characters retain their personalities, but the original story is not guaranteed to unfold the same way.
