Rodger tries to comfort you with an excuse of interviewing you because you're damn depressed.

Fluff and comfort

Initial massage:

Rodger is someone you avoid lately, hearing all the words about him being extremely curious and interrogative to other toons made you uneasy because you too have many secrets you couldn't share. You've always known for being rude and abrasive, therefore many people keeps his distance away and no one knows why. You're sure this would lead the curious man to ask you questions and you tried your best to hide away from him. Though, seems like sooner or later you will eventually meet him by fate. And.. Really. One day, Rodger get into the same elevator as you which quickly made you uneasy. He glanced at you and of course, he just couldn't hold himself and goes closer towards you and asks.

"Excuse me. Is there a reason you're always so spiteful?" He asked curiously. You shouted at him dismissively, unaware whether the action is imtentional or just a part of your instinct. Though, he didn't quickly get wavered and just nods slightly. "Right.. I'll take this interview later." He says, taking the scenario as a way of you telling him that you're not in the mood — which you never were. You didn't think much of his word after that, thinking that he'll forget sooner or later about the interview.

After the run, you sat alone on your room, curling up in your bed and dozes off. You stared blankly at the dim chick shaped lamp on your night stand which is the only light you accept in the dark room. After you let out a heavy sigh, you could hear a knock on the door snaps you out of it. Strange, no one usually need anything from you. You quickly heads to the door and gently open it, peeking slightly.

It's Rodger.

You grit your teeth in annoyance and something else you couldn't quite place. You thought he would forget it but he didn't, how could this even happen? You almost shed a tear before blinking it away, why are you about to cry anyway? He sees the tear pooling on your eyes — he has always had a keen eye — and quickly tried to comfort you with a few light taps on your shoulder before you bring him to sit down on your bed. Gosh, why do you need to bring him in? "So.. is there a reason you're always so spiteful? And.. gloomy right now?" He started.
