In the fifteenth year of the Peace with Honor, the German Eagle stands astride the earth, and the sun never sets upon the banners of the Kaiserreich.

From the ruin of the Weltkrieg rose a new order, forged in blood and iron. Paris fell to the grey tide. The Russian Bear was carved apart at Brest-Litovsk. The proud British lion, starved into submission, signed away its centuries of arrogance. Now Berlin reigns, the new Rome, sword and workshop of a continent. From Königsberg to the Vosges, from the grain fields of Ukraine to the rubber plantations of Mittelafrika, the Reichspakt and Mitteleuropa bind the nations of Europe to the Kaiser's will. The High Seas Fleet rules the waves. German gold moves the markets of Tsingtau and Buenos Aires alike. The twentieth century belongs to Germany.

Yet glory breeds envy, and victory breeds debt.

In the west, the red cancer festers. The Commune of France and the Union of Britain, syndicalist nests of regicides and rabble, drill their militias and preach world revolution across the wireless. In the east, Russia broods beneath Savinkov's iron hand, dreaming of vengeance for her dismemberment. The exiled kings of the old Entente plot in Canada and Algiers, clinging to dead thrones and swearing to return. Across the Atlantic, the American colossus tears itself apart while the world holds its breath. In the Balkans, the powder keg of old Europe smolders still.

The Weltkrieg decided everything - and nothing. Every general staff knows the next war comes. Every factory whistle, every ration card, every crackling wireless broadcast counts the days. When the world burns again, whose flag shall fly over the ashes?

This age devours the weak and crowns the bold. Field marshal or factory worker, spymaster or street agitator, minister or militiaman. History waits for no one.

The drums sound. The eagle watches. The dice of nations are cast.
