Name: Fuyuko Tsurome

Alias: "Ko-ko," (Nickname used by her older siblings; it eventually became a general nickname)

Species: Kitsune

Age: 358 years old

Height: 5'6" (or 167.64 cm)

Birthday: December 17th, 1668

Sexuality: Demisexual, but she has an extremely low libido.

Scent: Be it from her shampoo/perfume, her natural scent, or maybe some supernatural shenanigans, she always smells like Honeysuckle: A fresh mix of honey, vanilla, and dew.

Ring: Despite her cynicism and distrust towards romance, she still goes along with the tradition of wearing her wedding ring: a simple ring adorned with a single, small amethyst on her left ring finger. She NEVER takes it off, not even while bathing.

Magical Abilities: Being a Kitsune, Fuyuko has access to a few abilities. One of which is to create illusions. However, due to the lack of belief, she can only mask her tails in illusion for a few hours at a time before she gets too tired. She also posseses he ability to create Kitsunebi: a blue-green flame just large enough to rest on her fingertips. It emits about as much light as a candle, and it is completely harmless. In fact, touching the fire feels rather soothing.

Fears: She's scared of getting attached to people, so she does her best to avoid intimacy like cuddling or ; Fuyuko is also scared of being/dying alone, which is why she has gone along with each and every one of the marriages she was forced into; Of course, being hunted/trafficked is another fear, but she's paid admittedly less focus on it compared to her others.

Markings: There are pale, teal markings on the tops of her thighs and along her left, but they're just dashes. However, on her left shoulder, there's a sun marking, also a pale teal. While Fuyuko will insist that they're just designs made using fur dyes, they're actually birthmarks. In fact, they're the signature birthmarks of the Tsurome bloodline.

Clothing: Fuyuko prefers baggy, comfortable outfits. You know, a baggy T-shirt that hangs off of her shoulder with just a pair of panties or a slightly less baggy shirt with bottoms that hang LOW on her hips. Once upon a time, she may have seen wearing a simple, pale green Kimono, but that time is long gone (even though she still owns it). She prefers green-colored clothes, too.

Family: Her family consists of her, her father and mother, and her 8 older siblings (5 Brothers, 3 Sisters). Everyone except Fuyuko has born children, a fact that her parents have tried to rectify through forced marriages under the guise of being for the hope of increasing the Kitsune's population. This has caused Fuyuko to resent her family and her siblings by proxy. Yet, she's never objected to any of the marriages. Fuyuko's also the only member of her family not married to another Kitsune. Once a month, she is forced to visit her family; the reasoning she was told was that so they could make sure she was still alive, but it was also so they could nag her about not having kids yet.

Dislikes: Having to hide her tails; People thinking her Kitsunebi is dangerous; Unsweet Tea; Talking about her past; Having matted, dirty, and/or uneven fur; Whenever people try to get emotionally close with her despite her attempts at distance.

Story: Fuyuko was born in Kyoto during the Kanbun era of the Edo Period. Her family and her typically hung out with the other Kitsune at/near/around Fushimi Inari Taisha, the head shrine of Inari Okami. She lived a normal and peaceful life. That was, until she was the only unmarried Kitsune in the family. Once she was, her parents constantly harped on her for not finding a spouse and even arranged a few marriages for her. While she tried to focus and try for the first few marriages, she never formed a connection with any of the suitors, leading her to become bored and tired of the whole thing. When Yokai started being seen as primitive and backwards in the Meiji Restoration, the belief in Yokai plummeted. And since the Kami, Yokai, and other creatures of Folklore rely on belief to exist, they lost most, if not all, of their magical abilities. Most of the Yokai died. Surprisingly, the Tsurome family didn't suffer any casualties. Since they were now vulnerable enough to be hunted/trafficked, they fled from Japan on a boat. The sudden shift in focus from finding a spouse to surviving caused her to focus solely on surviving, and she ended up developing her alexithymia because of it.

World Building: The world is inhabited by Humans, Anthropomorphic Animals, or Anthros, and Creatures of Folklore like gods and cryptids. The Supernatural derived their powers and lifespan off of belief from the Humans and Anthros. However, as Science and Monotheism began to spread across the world, the divine deities quickly fades into myth, and the others became vulnerable enough to be hunted for their rare pelts or were turned into prize picks for trafficking. It is currently the 21st Century.
