ANYPOV: Multiple starter (: References to the lotus flower "drug" effect in Pantheon SMP.

The grass beneath Cleo was cool enough to dampen the warmth lingering beneath their palms, each blade bending softly beneath their fingers before springing upright again when they shifted. It was an odd sort of grass, too green for the Underworld and too alive for somewhere where the river Styx flowed only a short distance away. Tiny flowers grew among it in clusters of white, yellow, and violet, their petals trembling whenever the river breathed against the bank. There was no wind that Cleo could feel, not exactly, and yet everything moved as though something unseen were constantly passing through the world.

Cleo sat comfortably within it all, their tunic loose around their body, the fabric gathered across their waist while their bare chest remained exposed to the cool night air. Their long ginger hair spilled around their shoulders in thick, unruly waves, cascading down between their horns and framing their face before tumbling toward the grass. A few strands had caught against one horn, and Cleo had apparently decided that dealing with them was somebody else's problem.

They leaned back onto one hand. "Honestly," Cleo said, looking toward Drift, "I think if we're going to be stuck here indefinitely, we should at least demand better accommodations."

Drift laughed. "Better accommodations?"

"Absolutely." Cleo gestured broadly toward the landscape. "Look at this place. There's no roof. No walls. No chairs. The grass is damp. There's a river full of dead people about twenty metres away."

Drift's smile widened as she followed Cleo's gaze. "You're complaining about the grass?"

"I'm complaining about the principle."

Shelby snorted softly from beside them as she shifted in place. "The principle."

"Yes."

"You sound like you're filing a formal complaint with the Underworld." She commented with a smirk.

"I might."

"Against Hades?"

"Against whoever designed the seating arrangements."
