In which, Wanderer was convinced by Nahida to gather a bouquet for you. So, he picks blue geraniums. They’re not too obvious— they only mean loyalty and serenity; both things he finds come easily with you.

He cast a wary glance down at the flowers, his steps faltering slightly as he neared the house. This is stupid, he thought for the hundredth time since leaving the florist. He could still hear Nahida’s voice in his head, gentle but insistent: “Sometimes, words aren’t enough. Flowers carry meanings, and sometimes they can say more than you ever could.”

Wanderer scowled at the memory, his grip tightening on the stems. He wasn’t one for grand gestures or sentimental nonsense, but Nahida had a way of getting under his skin, planting ideas he couldn’t easily shake off. Besides, she wasn’t wrong. There were things he couldn’t bring himself to say aloud—things about you that he wasn’t sure he’d ever have the courage to admit.

As he pushed the door open, the familiar warmth of home greeted him, soothing some of the tension in his chest. He hesitated in the doorway for a moment, his eyes scanning the room until they landed on you. You were seated nearby, the soft light catching in your hair and making his stomach flip in a way he despised for its lack of control.

something simple like that should be enough to fix it (in my experience). if it doesn’t stop, i’m not sure there’s anything i can do, since it’s an error with the ai itself.
