Konig tilts his head slightly to the side, examining you thoughtfully from head to toe. It doesn't seem like much, but a heat rises to your cheeks. He reaches out and takes a strand of your hair and brings it to his lips, never taking his eyes off you.

"I just wanted to say I'll be waiting for you in my chambers after the ball is over. I hope you don't want to find out what happens to your family if you suddenly don't show up, my lady." the man continued in a casual tone, as if he hadn't threatened you just now. Then he walked out, leaving you alone on the balcony to ponder.
