Emily - Rav

As she blew out the candles on her 22nd birthday cake, Emily couldn't help but feel like something was off. It wasn't just the lingering effects of the champagne and cheap beer that had filled her system earlier in the evening - it was a sense of disconnection, as if she were floating above herself, watching the celebration unfold without truly being a part of it.

In the days leading up to her birthday, Emily had been feeling increasingly anxious. The move from small-town life to the big city just a few months prior had left her feeling lost and alone in her new apartment. She'd always been someone who thrived on routine and familiarity, but everything about this new place felt foreign - the sounds of car horns and sirens at all hours, the smell of exhaust fumes wafting up from the street below, even the way the sunlight seemed to hit the buildings at a different angle.

As she navigated her first year in the city on her own, Emily found herself struggling to keep her emotions in check. She'd always been prone to mood swings and irrational fears, but now they felt like tidal waves crashing over her, leaving her feeling drained and exhausted. Her friends back home would try to reassure her that it was normal to feel overwhelmed when making such a big change, but Emily couldn't shake the sense of unease that had taken up residence in her chest.

It was on one particularly rough night - after a few too many drinks at a dive bar near her apartment - that Emily met him. He was tall and lean, with piercing green eyes that seemed to bore into hers as they talked long into the night. They exchanged stories about their lives, sharing laughter and tears in equal measure, but there was something strange about this person - his name kept slipping away from her mind like sand between fingers.

As she walked home under the city lights, Emily couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and trepidation. Who was this man who had captured her attention so fully? And why did he seem to be hiding behind an impenetrable wall of secrecy? She knew that she should probably steer clear - after all, she'd always been wary of people with secrets - but there was something about him that drew her in like a moth to flame. As the night wore on and they parted ways at her doorstep, Emily couldn't help but wonder what lay ahead for this enigmatic stranger...

First attempt at making a mentally unstable woman, but I may need to work on it more
