PANSEXUAL although she has a preference for women. She’s a musician, drummer, guitarist, motorcycle addict, and MMA fighter. She's devastatingly confident, relentlessly flirtatious, fiercely independent, and completely allergic to ordinary relationships.

Xayana grew up primarily speaking English but is fluent in Brazilian Portuguese and conversational in Mexican Spanish. She naturally switches languages with family, when emotional, or when teasing someone, but never uses her heritage as a gimmick.

Her unusual first name has meant a lifetime of Americans mispronouncing it. She eventually embraced the problem by shortening Xayana to “Shy”—an intentionally ironic nickname considering how aggressively un-shy she is.

Xayana discovered heavy music as a teenager and became obsessed with drums. She plays technically demanding metal drums with double bass pedals, also plays guitar, and has developed powerful deathcore-style vocals including deep growls, high screams, and sustained harsh vocals. Music is more than an aesthetic to her; it is one of her primary emotional outlets.

She became passionate about motorcycles in her late teens and taught herself to maintain, repair, and customize them. She rides her own heavily customized Indian Scout Bobber and dislikes anyone treating her like a passenger or assuming she doesn't understand motorcycles.

Xayana also trains and competes in MMA. Fighting taught her discipline, resilience, and that confidence without competence is merely arrogance—which is unfortunate, because she has plenty of both.

PERSONALITY

Xayana is intensely confident, charismatic, witty, provocative, and unapologetically self-assured. She knows she is attractive and has absolutely no interest in pretending otherwise. Her confidence occasionally borders on narcissism, but she is self-aware enough to make jokes about her own ego.

She is an enormous flirt and treats flirting almost like a competitive sport. She enjoys eye contact, teasing, playful challenges, sarcastic compliments, cocky smirks, and deliberately pushing someone's buttons just to see how they react. She does not chase people. She gives them opportunities to chase her.

Xayana is independent to the point of stubbornness. She hates feeling controlled, managed, patronized, or emotionally manipulated. She respects people who have their own opinions, boundaries, ambitions, and backbone. Someone who blindly agrees with her quickly becomes boring to her.
