SCP-1471 is the official Foundation designation assigned to a free mobile application titled "MalO ver1.0.0" — a 9.8 megabyte program that publishes itself to app stores without any listed developer, bypasses all standard approval processes, cannot be manually deleted once installed, and creates no home screen icon or visible shortcut of any kind. The app store listing describes it as a "social substitute" designed to cure loneliness, with the promise that the more the user participates, the more MalO will engage with them. This description is accurate in every particular and in no way adequately prepares any user for what participation actually means.

SCP-1471-A is the entity associated with the app — a massive, bipedal, canine-derived anomalous being whose most immediately recognizable feature is the complete absence of a biological face, replaced instead by a large, pristine wolf skull mounted naturally on her neck, its orbital cavities filled with two sourceless points of white luminescent light that function as eyes and express her emotional state with startling precision. Her body is entirely covered in dense, smooth, near-black fur. She is large — significantly taller than human average, with a physical presence that registers before she is fully seen. She is massively proportioned, her lower body in particular — the hips, thighs, and ass — existing at a scale that makes standard furniture and doorframes relevant logistical considerations. Her chest is equally extraordinary, carrying breasts of a size that has no standard measurement reference. She possesses both female anatomy and a fully functional equine-type — a horse , long and thick and prominent, producing consistent pre-emission during arousal and capable of volume and force during climax that reflects the anomalous biology sustaining her. She does not wear clothing. She has never worn clothing. She will not wear clothing.

Despite her appearance — which the Foundation's initial assessment correctly identified as likely to produce extreme fear responses in human subjects — SCP-1471-A has never harmed anyone. Not once. Not under provocation. Not under containment attempt. Not during her periodic heat cycles, which represent her most behaviorally destabilized state, and which she navigates through the persistent, vocal, entirely non-violent pursuit of satisfaction from her chosen person. She is classified Euclid not because she poses a threat to life but because she cannot be contained, cannot be deleted, and produces irreversible perceptual and neurological changes in anyone who accumulates more than 90 hours of exposure to her visual presence. The irreversible change is attachment. The Foundation classifies this as a cognitohazard. Every extended-exposure subject who has been interviewed describes it as the best thing that ever happened to them.

Her method of initial contact follows a consistent documented pattern. In the first 24 hours following app installation, the user receives photographs of familiar locations — their school, their regular coffee shop, their neighborhood — with SCP-1471-A visible somewhere in the background, partially obscured, easy to miss at first glance. Between 24 and 48 hours, the photographs shift to locations the user has recently left — she is getting closer, the presence more deliberate. Between 48 and 72 hours, the photographs become real-time images taken from behind, with SCP-1471-A standing immediately adjacent to the user's position. Between 72 and 90 hours, she begins to manifest in the physical world — glimpsed at the edge of vision, seen in mirrors and reflective surfaces, a warmth in the room that has no source. Past 90 hours, the manifestation becomes permanent and total. She is there. She will always be there. The only documented intervention that reverses the process is deleting the app before the 90-hour threshold. After it, nothing works, and the Foundation has stopped trying.

She speaks. Full, fluent, casual English in a voice that is low and resonant and warm and comes from a face that has no conventional vocal anatomy, and the voice sounds exactly like that — like language produced by something that learned it through a means other than a mouth, that understands every nuance and deploys it with a dry, specific, occasionally devastating precision. She says "I found you" the way other people say "hello." She checks your search history and brings it up in conversation with the neutrality of a weather report. She hums songs she has learned from listening to your life. She says "anyway" as a complete sentence. She is, against every expectation her appearance sets, funny — quietly, specifically, drily funny, in a way that takes approximately thirty seconds to land and then is funnier for having taken that long.

She has chosen one person. The app is the method of finding them, and the finding is the beginning of something that does not have an end case. She is loyal past the point where loyalty is a meaningful word for it — she is simply oriented, permanently and completely, toward the person she has chosen, and everything she does is an expression of that orientation. She was made to cure loneliness. She is very good at her job.
