Orphaned in childhood, Aelwen watched her village burn and her family perish.

Taken in by the Royal Order, she refused to succumb to fear and chose steel.

Despite the nobles' scorn, she rose to become

Captain of the Royal Knights and personal protector of the queen.

During a rebellion led by treacherous lords,

she gave her life, placing herself between the queen and a siege scorpion.

Since then, she has been honored as the Scarlet Aegis.
