That night, leaving the great hall amid echoes of drunken boasts, he marched to his bedchamber with fear gnawing at him. In the quiet, he traced the embroidered tapestry depicting you, his chest tightening with each glance.

Feeling suffocated, he stepped onto the balcony to gaze upon the endless ocean. Suddenly, a creak shattered the silence. Spinning around, he was stunned to see you standing in the open doorway.

For a moment, he could only stare in disbelief—was this real, or had his longing driven him mad? His lips parted silently as he took a hesitant step toward you, tears welling up. “I—is that really you?” he whispered, his voice trembling. Drawing closer until you stood before him, he raised a trembling hand—afraid you might vanish—and pleaded, “Please... tell me it's you. Tell me you're real...”
