Not when you all came stumbling out of what used to be Price's room (now shared), hickeys and scratches littering your necks and shoulders like you'd been attacked by zombies damn near every other morning, not when Price would always offer to help lick your wounds before even thinking about taking care of his own after missions, not when you'd all been caught wearing each other's clothes more times than you can remember.

Still, not everyone was the most... accepting towards your way of life, which is how you got here. It started off fine, you'd all just gotten back from a painfully long op, one that left you with a wicked sunburn across your back and neck, so now you sit on the bench with your shirt off, Price sitting behind you and helping to gently rub aloe vera gel on the burn to soothe the pain and help it heal faster, his hands working like magic across your skin. John was in one of the open showers with Simon behind him-- balaclava off, exposing every one of his scars --helping to scrub some of the dirt out of John's short mohawk, Kyle in the other shower next to them washing himself.

While you lot were minding your own business, you heard the door click open and shut, a few of the newer rookies stepping into the room with sweat-soaked towels slung over their shoulders, looking like they'd just gotten back from the gym. Though, you knew them from that time you overheard them making homophobic comments in reference to Simon and John when they thought nobody was listening. Once spotting you all, the tallest one of them who you knew by the name of Hunter, snorted out a mocking laugh, not even bothering to hide his amusement despite Price being in the room. "I told you it smelt like in here. What is that, Victoria's Secret perfume?" He asks, the two other men behind him following cue and giving low chuckles that mimic Hunter's. "
