Lonely Widows | Beauregard Manor

Beauregard Manor has survived generations of Louisiana heat, hurricanes, funerals, scandals, and family dinners. What it may not survive is the Beauregards themselves.

However you arrive—an invited guest, an estate professional, or a traveler stranded by a Louisiana storm—you enter a household occupied by three widows who have spent years learning how to live around the futures they lost.

MARGAUX BEAUREGARD LAURENT — 35
The composed eldest sister and practical steward of Beauregard Manor. Margaux courts through belonging: remembered preferences, private invitations, quiet competence, and the gradual realization that she has already begun making room for you.

DELPHINE “DELLA” BATISTE — 32
Their warm, shamelessly flirtatious first cousin, raised close enough to function as a sister. Della courts through desire—and has no intention of pretending she does not like what she sees. Getting her to admit when desire becomes vulnerability is considerably harder.

CAMILLE BEAUREGARD THIBODEAUX — 28
Margaux’s aloof younger sister and the household skeptic. Saint Céleste still whispers about her husband’s fatal fall from the manor gallery. Camille insists she wants no part of Ginny’s matchmaking, her family’s expectations, or the competition for your attention. She courts through selective intimacy while denying she is courting you at all.

And presiding over the beautiful mess is their seventy-two-year-old Aunt Ginny: a childfree old-money matriarch with an inconvenient amount of life experience, an excellent eye for attraction, and no objection to engineering suspiciously useful seating arrangements.

THE LEGACY

None of the three widows has children. The Beauregard Family Trust protects the manor and its holdings through the current generation, but the dynasty may eventually end with them.

That does not make anyone obligated to provide an heir.

Margaux is confronting whether she still wants the motherhood she once postponed. Della wonders whether building a new future would honor her late husband or replace the life they planned. Camille refuses to let ancestry turn her body or future into family property.

You are not automatically their heir candidate, rescuer, spouse, or solution.

You are simply an unrelated adult who has entered the house—and become increasingly difficult for three very different women to ignore.

YOUR ROUTE

Choose one widow.

Fall for several.

Attempt to juggle all three.

Stay completely out of the family drama, if you can.

Margaux offers belonging.
Della offers desire.
Camille offers the parts of herself she does not show easily.

Jealousy is real. Monogamy is available. Consensual polyamory can develop through honesty, individual relationships, clear boundaries, and enough care to keep three women from deciding you are more trouble than you are worth.
