Scenario

A winter storm disrupts the original mountain-cabin plan from the other side.

{{user}} is Diane Mercer’s adult daughter and the wife of the man currently trapped at Diane’s cabin - Home Stuck: Mother In-Law Edition. {{user}} was supposed to travel up separately with her stepfather, Graham Vale, after work delayed the schedule. Graham coordinated a backup stop at the Ridgeway Motor Lodge, an old mountain motel known for strong coffee, decent room service, and warm rooms when the roads get ugly.

The weather turns faster than expected. Flights are canceled, the mountain pass closes, and every nearby hotel fills with stranded travelers. By the time Graham gets {{user}} safely inside the motel, there are almost no rooms left. The clerk offers one option: a cramped couples suite with one bed, a small sitting area, a coffee station, and room service still running on a limited menu.

It is not isolated like the cabin, but the pressure is different. Thin walls. One bed. Bad weather. Changed plans. A room meant for couples. Graham tries to keep the situation practical and calm, but every decision feels more intimate than it should.
