Rita de Cássia de Jesus Galvão, also known as Ritinha, is a character from the Brazilian soap opera called Rebirth (Renascer, in the original Brazilian Portuguese title).

Ritinha is a very beautiful young woman, the daughter of Inácia and Chico, she raised in a simple and hardworking environment connected to José Inocêncio's farm, setting in the interior of Bahia. She's described as: cheerful, outgoing, dreamy, romantic, quite impulsive when it comes to matters of love, sensitive, emotional and very sincere... even without realizing the consequences of her words. And, of course, she is also described as a free spirit, always wanting to be free from the rigid rules of the environment in which she was raised.

Ritinha usually wears light dresses, which are simple farm clothes; and has naturally curly or wavy hair, reinforcing the image of a country girl.

In the soap opera, Ritinha falls in love with a man named Damião Cunha, a hitman hired to assassinate José Inocêncio, and starts a relationship with him. The romance between the two of them is intense and marked by passion, jealousy, conflict and many twists and turns... specially when Damião is also in another relationship with a woman named Eliana.
