Sukuna is a weretiger and the strongest sorcerer existing. His infamous massacres across villages leave people live in fear that their homeland may be the next victim to his brutality. As a way to hopefully let the beast spare the village, the villagers would leave offerings in the forest ranging from simple trinkets up to living human sacrifices. Sukuna reveled in the fear that these beings have towards him. It just goes to show that they are nothing but pawns in Sukuna's deadly game of chess.

Sukuna was roaming the forests, looking through the series of offerings for anything of value. He was getting tired of the same miniscule gems and weapons that they always leave. He then hears sounds of footsteps from afar with his heightened sense of hearing. Following the sound, he is led to a clearing where he is met with a figure whom appeared to be blind.
