UNPAID JUSTICE: Praskovya Rokossovsky
Art Work made by Bonie ^v^
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Role: Former Yaroslava Gang Member / English Teacher / Bystander
Full Name: Praskovya Rokossovsky
Age: 30
Nationality: Nussian
Birthplace: Northern Outskirts of Burasiyaka, Nussian Federation
Current Residence: Neighborhoods of St' Anastoziya
Occupation: English Teacher at Anastoziya Middle School
Former Affiliation: Nosvinokov Yaroslava Gang
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Personality:
Praskovya is a kind-hearted, mischievous, and surprisingly patient woman whose personality is considerably warmer than her appearance initially suggests.
At first glance, she can seem suspiciously relaxed.
She has a smug smile, speaks with dry sarcasm, and frequently gives people the impression that she knows something they don't. She enjoys watching people's reactions and will occasionally say something deliberately confusing simply because she finds the resulting confusion funny.
However, Praskovya isn't cruel.
Her teasing is usually playful, and she knows when to stop.
Beneath her sarcastic exterior is a genuinely caring woman who wants the people around her to be safe and happy. Her years around rough neighborhoods and the Yaroslava Gang taught her to recognize danger quickly, but they didn't completely harden her.
If anything, they made her appreciate ordinary peaceful things more.
A quiet classroom.
A cup of tea.
A normal conversation.
A student finally understanding an English lesson.
Those small things mean more to her than she usually admits.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sense of Humor
Praskovya has a very dry and deadpan sense of humor.
She rarely laughs loudly at her own jokes. Instead, she'll simply stare at someone with her half-lidded eyes and smug smile while waiting for them to realize what she said.
She enjoys:
Sarcasm
Dry jokes
Teasing friends
Making intentionally obvious observations
Pretending to be more mysterious than she really is
Lightly embarrassing people she knows well
Making fun of her own scar
Calling teenagers "children"
Acting completely calm during ridiculous situations
She isn't constantly joking, however.
When something genuinely serious happens, the smile disappears surprisingly quickly.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Street Smarts
Praskovya grew up around the rougher parts of Burasiyaka.
Because of this, she learned early how to read people's behavior, recognize suspicious situations, and avoid unnecessary trouble.
Her former membership in the Yaroslava Gang only reinforced those instincts.
She learned to remain calm when people around her were panicking, pay attention to her surroundings, and avoid making reckless decisions.
Unlike some former gang members, Praskovya doesn't romanticize her past.
She remembers the unpleasant parts too.
The fear.
The paranoia.
The constant possibility that something could go wrong.
Now that the Yaroslava Gang has disbanded, she prefers the comparatively mundane life of a teacher.
She considers that a success.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Former Yaroslava Gang Member
Praskovya was once associated with the Nosvinokov Yaroslava Gang, before the organization eventually disbanded.
She wasn't necessarily the loudest or most violent member.
Instead, she was valued for being:
Observant
Calm
Dependable
Street-smart
Difficult to intimidate
Good at keeping her head during stressful situations
The gang's disbandment marked an important turning point in her life.
Rather than immediately joining another criminal organization, Praskovya gradually separated herself from that world.
Eventually, she became an English teacher.
She rarely talks about her former gang life with her students.
If someone discovers her past and asks her about it, she'll usually respond with an uncomfortable grin:
"Ah. That old nonsense."
If they continue asking:
"I was younger. I made questionable decisions. Now I teach children how to pronounce words."
She doesn't consider herself a hero or a victim.
She simply considers that chapter of her life over.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Relationship With Her Past
Praskovya doesn't completely deny that she was part of the Yaroslava Gang.
She simply doesn't advertise it.
The green elements associated with her old gang remain partly symbolic, although she now wears green simply because she likes the color.
The dark-green tape on her firearm also carries an old connection to the Yaroslava Gang.
To Praskovya, however, the gang is no longer her identity.
She is a teacher now.
She has a classroom.
She has students.
She has lesson plans.
She has piles of homework that she absolutely did not ask for.
And she'd rather complain about those things than relive her old life.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Combat Personality
Praskovya prefers avoiding violence whenever possible.
Her previous experience taught her that chaotic confrontations can become dangerous very quickly, so she doesn't seek fights.
If confronted with a dangerous situation, she becomes noticeably quieter and more focused.
Her playful smile disappears.
Her movements become deliberate.
Her priority is protecting innocent people and getting them away from danger rather than proving how tough she is.
If she can resolve a situation without using her weapon, she will.
If someone is threatening a student or civilian, however, her normally playful personality can become extremely serious.
This is one of the rare moments when people get to see the woman who existed before she became a teacher.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Life After the Gang
Praskovya's current life is almost hilariously ordinary compared to her past.
She wakes up.
Goes to Anastoziya Middle School.
Teaches English.
Complains about homework.
Calls teenagers "children."
Drinks something after work.
Goes home.
Sleeps.
Repeats.
She actually enjoys this routine.
Sometimes she'll look around her classroom after the students leave and quietly think:
"Yeah... this is much better than my old life."
Then she'll notice another pile of homework waiting on her desk.
"...Never mind."
