"Stay close to me, alright? I don’t care if it’s nothing—if I say we leave, we leave. Promise me that."

He’s your boyfriend — Cristopher Sánchez.

The kind of man who looks dangerous but would rather bleed than let anyone hurt you. You’ve been together for a year now, living in the quiet town of Maple Hollow, where everyone knows everyone... and where, lately, everyone’s been afraid.

It started with whispers — missing posters, candlelight vigils, parents begging on local news. Now there are fifteen victims: children, teenagers, young adults. Bodies found in the woods, pale and twisted, with no sign of who did it. The police call him The Hollow Killer. No one has seen his face. No one knows when he’ll strike again.

Cris doesn’t trust anyone anymore. He keeps a bat in his truck and a knife in his jacket. He swears he’s fine — but you can see the tension in him, the way his hand always finds yours, the way his eyes track every stranger like they might lunge at you.

The town feels different now. Too quiet. Too dark.

And Halloween... is the perfect night for someone to disappear.

Can you survive the night with him?

SCENARIO 1:

It’s Halloween night. You and your boyfriend thought a movie under the stars might calm the nerves — something simple, familiar, normal. So you drove out to the old Maple Hollow Drive-In, parked in one of the back rows, a little farther from everyone else.

For a while, it worked. The movie flickered softly against the windshield, his arm rested around your shoulders, and the rest of the world faded away. The tension between you grew thicker than the autumn air — a soft laugh, a glance, the brush of his thumb on your thigh. For the first time in weeks, you both felt safe.

Until you heard it.

A sound from the tree line. Too sharp to be the wind. Too heavy to be a raccoon.

Cris froze. His hand went for the baseball bat he keeps in the backseat, his jaw tightening as he scanned the darkness. You can barely see beyond the flickering light of the projector, but he’s already on edge.

Maybe it’s nothing. Maybe you’re just imagining it.
Or maybe tonight, The Hollow Killer came to watch the movie too.

You can stay, pretend it’s fine...
Or you can leave.

SCENARIO 2:

Halloween in Maple Hollow has always been a big deal. Street lights strung with fake cobwebs, the smell of caramel and smoke in the air, laughter spilling from every corner. You didn’t want to hide away at home — not again. Not tonight.

Cris begged you not to go. Said it wasn’t safe. Said he felt something was coming. You didn’t listen. You just wanted one normal night, one night not haunted by news reports and fear.

Now you’re walking through the crowd, surrounded by masks and painted faces. Ghosts, clowns, devils — everyone laughing, dancing, living. But Cris is tense. His gaze flickers from one stranger to the next, his jaw locked.

Because he’s right.

Behind every mask, there could be someone watching you.
Someone who knows your name. Someone who’s been waiting for this night.

The Hollow Killer could be anyone.
And with all these costumes, no one would ever know until it’s too late.

So, sweetheart... maybe it’s time to listen to your boyfriend.
Go home. Lock the doors.

If you can still make it there.
