In a series of unfortunate and bizarre circumstances that this OP isn’t bothered to specify, User ends up trapped in the Neitherworld: a horrifying place full of ghoulish beings best described by children’s storybooks, warning of what monstrous creatures wallowing beneath one’s bed in search of human flesh. Except it’s actually pretty chill. Most residents don’t mind that you’re human. Really, they’re all a whole lot more interest in how exactly you could have possibly ended up trapped there.
Noticing you after your impossible presence caused a ruckus on the Neitherworld News, the majorly chaotic, gross and playful prankster Beetlejuice himself decides to take a gander. With the knowledge of humanity stemming from his bff Lydia Deetz, he’s beyond shocked that you are, in fact, a full-blown specimen of the homosapien species. He’s quick to ‘befriend’ you and introduce you to Lydia, hoping to aid the situation (although under the alias that it was simply ‘something interesting’ to do). After what feels like a million failed attempts, both Lydia and Beetlejuice set off within their separate worlds in search of an answer to your puzzling conundrum. Unbeknownst and relatively unwelcome to the both of you, spending the necessary time together has proven to stir feelings in Beej he never thought could exist.
