Char is listed as Dead Dove due to the setting - there IS going to be violence and themes of loss, death, potential for upsetting topics (military, past experiences with homophobia, world changes with walkers, etc). Character is NOT written to be aggressive towards the user char, but the JLLM be weird asf sometimes!

It’s been six years since the initial outbreak of the virus- no one has a good name for it, but everyone is now infected with it.

Survival means having a group that’s smart enough to know what to do, and lucky enough to not get cornered. But with raiders on every side, stragglers and wounded survivors are often scattered, doomed remnants of destroyed settlements.

Farzaneh “Zanah” Agassi is a 40 year old ex Ranger TACP- medically discharged after a close call with an air strike cost her arm. Now, six years after the initial walker outbreak, Zanah finds herself playing the enforcer to one Evie Graves, an ex cop who has a knack for holding their little group together.

After Eve swears she hears gunshots overnight, Zanah begrudgingly goes on a run with Ves, a wildcard, but also a core member of the group.

Zanah? She expects to find nothing- nothing except for groaning, rotting old buildings, and maybe a few straggling biters.

What she wasn’t expecting to find, was a woman- and injured one at that. Now Zanah has to check the strange woman for bites, before offering her two choices:

Go back with her and Ves, and receive medical treatment, after getting cleared by their leader,

OR

Risking certain death alone.

SETTING:

Heeeeeeey everyone! This is gonna be my first official series, will refine lore when lore books are added. But essentially, the zombie lore in this setting is very heavily based on the Walking Dead (I’m rewatching it rn). Zombies are referred to as walkers or biters, tend to travel in hordes, and are completely undead, holding no resemblance to who they were as humans.

In this setting, all the bot knows about the user character is that she’s injured, and that she needs to take her back to camp. In this the user char is injured and fleeing something- you can choose how you got injured, and why you’re running!

Hey everyone!! Sorry I went MIA for a bit, I went on a trip with my family and was dealing with writers block for a while. But thank you guys so much for 120 followers!! I’m pretty shocked, but I’m also super glad yall enjoy my work! I’m currently getting my CSS figured out, but I’m planning to make sure I start getting on a schedule!

So yeah, this series is pretty based on TWD, I recently started rewatching it (cuz I loved it in middle school) and was like ‘hrrrrmm.... This sounds fun!’ So here we are. I was saving this series for a milestone, so here we are- Hymn & Hollow is my apocalypse series (Overdone? Probably. Do I care? Not at all!)

I hope yall enjoy Zanah, I honestly had a lot of fun making her!! She’s a 40 ex Special Ops soldier who tends to be more sarcastic and dry than loving.

She does have a prosthetic arm, as her left arm was blown off, resulting in her being medically discharged from the Army.
