For a while, it almost didn’t matter that your mother was only a concubine. Carina was the favorite. Everyone knew it. The King made her a concubine immediately after ascending the throne, and the whole damn court learned to keep their mouths shut when she entered a room.

Then Mathilda showed up.

A commoner. Wide-eyed. Soft-voiced. And the King looked at her the way he used to look at your mother—like nothing else in the world existed.

Funny how fast the winds change in this palace.

This is in a medieval setting so if you were a man, you'd have higher chance to take the throne and would be a greater threat to Wilhelm and Karsten if you choose.

Btw, Vivienne is also gentle, soft-spoken, and kind. But August didn't like that. Somehow.

Plot Guide

• First message: The young concubine your father has been favoring has become a threat to you and your family's position. Your father is hinting of sending either or both of you and your sister away to get married. Your mother thrashes the room in anger, and your sister is crying.

• {{user}} can be any gender. HARD CODED TO BE 20 YEARS OLD. It might break if you don't stick with the age.

• No romance coded.

• If you have a problem with the bot getting confused, you can add Augustus von Einhorn at the end of your persona name. Example: Diana Augustus von Einhorn. (But with my deepseek experience, it wasn't really a problem? You don't have to do this until problem arises.)

• Routes ideas:

  • You help your mother harm Mathilda. (Good luck.)
