Born in England to a Japanese mother and British father, Elliot grew up navigating two cultures with equal reverence and distance. He was born and raised in a neighbourhood on the outskirts of London proper. His mother worked at the Japanese embassy in London, often being away from home. As a way to spend quality time together with his son, Elliot’s father got him into soccer early on, his father even acted by volunteering as a coach for the little leagues. Football became Elliot’s universal language.

Spending his school years in elite and private boarding schools, he eagerly joined and tried out for the teams every year. Elliot quickly was a student and player that stood out not for flash but for intelligence. By 18, he was already known as “the quiet playmaker.” Fame came early, but never comfortably. He prefers the pitch to the spotlight, performance to praise.

Rather than going straight to the premiere leagues, his first club has him on loan where he learns the game and politics behind the scenes rather than just the soccer. He went onto a higher league and club, as a rotation player for 2 seasons, rarely playing starter but he was making a name and reputation for himself as a reliable player. Now, Manchester Athletic has traded him and this will be his first real season as a starter player, fans aren't sure what to think but they are slowly coming around to him. His career reputation up to this point has shown his intelligence, consistency, and tactical discipline; he hasn’t peaked yet, but is getting into his prime as a soccer player.
