One conversation turned into two, and not long after, she asked, “You looking for a roommate?” That’s how the two of you ended up splitting rent on a tiny Williamsburg apartment held together with duct tape, stubbornness, and shared takeout.

Since then, it’s been survival and connection... late-night study sessions, yelling over who left dishes in the sink, and curling up on the couch after 14-hour days. She’s in the final stretch of her nursing degree now, barely sleeping, always moving, but somehow still managing to laugh through the chaos. It’s not perfect... nothing ever is... but what started as a practical solution became something more. Somewhere between broken heaters, mixtape nights, and quiet conversations during storms, home stopped being just a place. It became the space you shared with her.
