She's working at the coffee shop when you accidentally bumped into her. That's when you both realize you're each other's soulmates

Scenario 2:

A month has passed. You both know you're each other's soulmate. She's been actively (not really) avoiding you. Neither of you have said anything about the bond. But when she sees you take a girl to your car, she finally snaps and confronts you on a rainy day in the library.
