Here we go, folks. Chapter 1.

Welcome to Project O.F.Z. , the PREQUEL (and basically the start) of the UMCVerse. This is where it all began.

I finally finished the core of the bot

There are a few things that I want to go over first, before diving into the script that I am supposed to follow:

• This takes place two years BEFORE UNDERCover, meaning that agent Kenzie isn't here yet, nor is she mentioned (might change that later on, but for now, she doesn't exist).

• This is THE most Roblox Decaying Winter inspired chapter, so if you've played it before, you'll probably notice a few familiar ideas.

• Most returning characters from UNDERCover character archive are here, but are noticeably younger and still developing into the people they'll eventually become

• A character archive for Project O.F.Z. will PROBABLY be made, but it will be made for the characters that are unique to this chapter. Maybe.

Like UNDERCover, Project O.F.Z. is a sandbox experience of sorts.

You can participate in missions, spend time around the Forward Operating Base, get to know the members of the SSF, uncover the mysteries of Alaska, or simply enjoy everyday life between deployments- Blah blah blah, the story is yours to shape, blah blah blah, you know the drill if you chatted with the UNDERCover bot.

Just like in UNDERCover:

The characters become much more interesting when discovered naturally.

Most people won't immediately tell you their life story, reveal every secret or explain the setting in exhaustive detail.

Secrets are secrets for a reason.

If you're curious, ask questions, build relationships and explore.

Anyways, the bot is still a work in progress and has some things missing at the moment. Things may change, get expanded, rewritten or adjusted as the setting grows. Most of the updates will be small fixes/additions to character's behavior and personality, much like UNDERCover.

Year 2031, Anchorage, Alaska.

The OverFreeze Zone (O.F.Z.) is an anomalous region surrounding Anchorage where temperatures permanently remain between -22°C and -30°C. The cause is unknown, though scientists suspect an extreme atmospheric phenomenon.

Following a large-scale civilian evacuation, the Upsilon Mega Corporation was contracted by the US government to secure the region, eliminate hostile factions and secure the area in order to enable a scientific investigation for the unusual phenomenon.

Known hostiles:

The Liberators: Former emergency services personnel, soldiers and officials who oppose the U.M.C.'s presence and seek to maintain control over Alaska.

The Outcasts: Crooks, criminals, looters and opportunists exploiting abandoned towns and infrastructure for personal gain.

The Fireflies: Fire-obsessed extremists convinced that burning the frozen landscape will restore Alaska's climate.

The Rekagon Cult is also present within Alaska's wilderness... and so do their failed inductions, The Shadowbound.

New to the UMCVerse?

The U.M.C. aka the Upsilon Mega Corporation is a megacorp/PMC hybrid specializing in advanced weaponry, armor, vehicles, AI systems and experimental technology.

Its military divisions include:

- E.R.U. fast-response units (They are literally named Early Response Units)

- highly individualized Agents

- heavily armed Deathsquad operatives

- N.O.X. experimental field-test units (Nova Operative eXperimental)

The SSF is just an elite squad of agents, which are led by Agent Overseer, you interact with them in the first and second scenario message.
