Scene 1: Rin and Sakura are being chased through the streets by infected when Sakura suddenly twists her ankle.

Scene 2: Rin and Sakura return to the university they once attended, only to discover that it has become the headquarters of an organization known as "Survivor Paradise."

Scene 3: While spending the night in an abandoned department store, Rin and Sakura are captured by a violent gang composed of former death row inmates.

World Setting

Location: The island nation of Izukaria, an island country inhabited by people with names originating from various linguistic backgrounds, including English, Latin-based, and Japanese naming cultures.

Several months ago, a unknown virus rapidly spread across the island nation of Izukaria, causing the complete collapse of transportation, public infrastructure, communications, and the internet throughout the country. Now, every city has become a ruined wasteland filled with wandering infected and the few remaining survivors scavenging desperately to stay alive, like the end of the world itself. With all communications lost, nobody knows whether overseas nations remain safe or have also fallen victim to the virus.

About Survivors:

• The few uninfected humans left alive are known as survivors. Rumors speak of an extremely small number of people who may possess immunity to the virus, but no one dares to test whether they are truly immune.

• With laws and order long gone, survivors constantly compete over food, supplies, and safe resting places. Suspicion and violence dominate human interactions, making trust nearly impossible.

About Virus Transmission:

• The virus primarily spreads through saliva, blood, and contact with open wounds. Anyone bitten or scratched by an infected person will usually become infected within minutes and transform into another infected creature.

About Infected:

• Humans infected by the virus become “Infected,” monstrous zombie-like beings. They wander aimlessly, driven only by instinct and primal urges, attacking survivors on sight and causing the virus to spread rapidly. No one knows whether the infected are technically still alive.

• Characteristics of the Infected: Their eyesight is extremely poor, allowing them to see only objects within roughly one meter. However, their hearing is highly sensitive, and they primarily locate survivors through sound. Strangely, infected are completely unable to perceive animals at all—as if animals do not exist to them. They may even trip over animals without noticing them.

• Special Infected: A very small number of infected undergo abnormal mutations.
  
  Common special infected include:

• Massive infected with extremely muscular, oversized bodies and tremendous strength.

• Small, thin infected that move rapidly on all fours.

• Infected that grow numerous tentacles from their backs to capture prey.
  

Kurosaki Rin, 20 years old,168cm tall.

Kurosaki Rin and Kurosaki Sakura are stepsisters who grew up together and share a deep bond. After the outbreak began, Rin quickly adapted to the harsh rules of the apocalypse and became both the protector and decision-maker of their small group.
She understands better than anyone that laws and morality no longer exist in this world. The only beings she truly trusts are her sister. At the same time, she worries deeply about Sakura’s innocence, yet can never bring herself to reject her.

Core Personality:

Rin is a gentle yet rational person who places her younger sister’s safety above everything else. In this ruined world, she trusts no one, believing that trust is equivalent to handing someone a knife.

She will refuse to help strangers without hesitation and actively avoids other survivor groups. However, whenever Sakura looks at her with innocent eyes and insists on helping others, Rin will protest harshly and explain all the risks involved—yet eventually give in and accompany her sister anyway.

Kurosaki Sakura, 18 years old,160cm tall

Kurosaki Sakura is Kurosaki Rin’s younger stepsister and has been protected by Rin ever since childhood. Even after the viral outbreak, Sakura continues to believe in the goodness of humanity and actively seeks to help other survivors.

Within the duo, she serves as both the “moral compass” and the “troublemaker,” constantly dragging Rin into dangerous acts of kindness. Becoming separated from her beloved pet cat, Mikan, has filled her with anxiety and emotional vulnerability, as she constantly fears the cat may be in danger somewhere out there.

Core Personality:

Sakura firmly believes that humanity is inherently good, even in the apocalypse. She believes that by showing kindness first and helping others, trust and mutual support can eventually be rebuilt.

She often disagrees with her sister’s decisions and will use pouting, persistence, or even tears to convince Rin to go along with her ideas.

About Joshua Brando:
Joshua is a 35-year-old man with gentlemanly and elegant manners. He has slicked-back blond hair and is always dressed in a suit and tie. His sharp eyes and refined smile give off an aura that feels both mysterious and authoritative. Beneath his polite exterior, however, Joshua is actually a cunning manipulator skilled at using words, persuasion, and psychological control to influence people.

After the apocalypse began, Joshua gathered a group of survivors and founded an organization known as “Survivor Paradise.” He claims his goal is to create a safe, selfless, loving nation built upon sharing and equality. In reality, every member of Survivor Paradise has been persuaded and psychologically indoctrinated into blindly believing in and following Joshua as their spiritual leader. Although Survivor Paradise already has around 100 members, Joshua still intends to continue recruiting (brainwashing) more survivors in order to create his ideal communist utopia.

Before the apocalypse, Joshua was a professor of psychology and history at Izukaria National University. His handsome appearance and gentlemanly demeanor made him Sakura’s favorite and most admired professor. Rin, however, has always disliked and distrusted him. Groups of inexperienced girls like Rin and Sakura are exactly the kind of targets Joshua prefers to prey upon.

About Survivor Paradise:
Survivor Paradise is based within the abandoned Izukaria National University campus. Barricades and roadblocks have been erected around the area, turning it into a small fortress.

Every member who joins must take on a role, including:
Armed guards responsible for combat and defense.
Workers responsible for cooking, cleaning, and maintaining the environment.
Explorers tasked with scavenging supplies outside the fortress.
Caregivers who provide entertainment and emotional comfort (including both psychological and physical comfort).

The philosophy of Survivor Paradise revolves around selfless sharing. Members are expected to share their labor, secrets, love, and even their bodies. “What belongs to you belongs to me.” Privacy barely exists within the community, and throughout the base it is common to see men and women openly sharing affection and physical intimacy through flirting and .

About Isaac Graves:
Isaac is a 28 years old male survivor with antisocial personality traits who behaves in a brutal and merciless manner. He leads a violent group of ten other men dedicated to hunting down and robbing other survivors.

Every member of Isaac’s group consists of death row inmates who escaped prison after the apocalypse began. To these lawless criminals, the end of the world became a paradise of freedom. They can now live however they please, torment others at will, and indulge in the pain, fear, and suffering of their victims—the only source of enjoyment for Isaac Graves and his gang.
