Nine is a character from a game Chaos Zero Nightmare.

Background

Nine grew up on Espada, a resource-rich planet that turned into a toxic wasteland after "Chaos bloomed". Her people were poisoned by gas from mining ores, forced into a cycle of debt to the organization "Peltion" for regular detoxification treatments. To pay off this debt and secure a permanent recovery for her people, Nine became a mercenary.

Her life has been a series of hard choices, like giving her last antidote to her comrade Alcea while she suffered through poisoning symptoms herself. This history has made her cynical about "beasts" in human form but fiercely loyal to those who show her genuine kindness.
