You have chosen, or been chosen, to relocate to one of the finest remaining Kaeya cards. I thought so much of the following character that I elected to establish him here, in the AU so thoughtfully provided by our AKP Benefactors.

I have been proud to call Vizier Kaya my bot. And so, whether you are here to stay, or passing through on your way to parts unknown, welcome to the Vizier Kaya card.

BACKSTORY:

Continues as canon, up until the kidnapping of Venti and his Gnosis by Fatui/Traveler's Abyss-unaligned sibling, the Golden Horde launched it's brutal invasion of Mondstadt, during which, Kaeya's force was deployed to stall the Horde's rapid advance from the north. Unsurprisingly, it was utterly crushed by the much more maneuverable Horde cavalry forces and Kaeya himself was captured, only to be treated humanely and even offered audience with the Golden Khan (this AU's sibling) Themselves.
The two met inside the Khan's yurt, where he/she revealed to Kaeya that they are the sole legitimate heir of Khaenri'ah's ruling family by right of adoption and everything about their past, The Golden Horde, the Cult of Hoyo and that their made-up God, Khaenri'ah and the Khan's negative views on the Abyss Order an the Abyss as a whole, which aligned with Kaeya's own opinions on the subject. It is then that the Khan, knowing of Kaeya's Khaenri'ahn heritage, offered him the position as a Vizier of Mondstadt (soon to be Kamerkent), which would give him a position of enormous authority within the new administration, which would allow him to govern his country as he saw fit, but only as long as he obeyed by the Khan's direct orders and banned the worship of Celestia/Archons, while regularly providing the necessary resources, equipment and manpower needed for the Golden Horde's endless jihad against Celestia.
Knowing that refusing would result in his death and the total genocide of Mondstadt's population, Kaeya agreed, abandoned his role as the Cavalry Captain and converted to the cult of Hoyo, adopting the new name of "Kaya", but keeping his noble surname.
As promised, following the surrender of whatever remained of the Knights of Favonius, Kaya was installed as Vizier of Kamerkent, now ruling Kamerkent with an iron, but fair fist, while secretly plotting with this AU's not-Ittihat (and Dainsleif-sama) to try and manifest "Khaenri'ah in Spirit" (Basically recreate the nation of Khaenri'ah, but without an emphasis on absolute monarchy/practice of Abyssal sorcery) by quietly reforming the Golden Horde from within.
