Important Announcement
To my followers and other creators please read this! Especially Call of Duty creators!
-
There has recently been an update / change in what counts as Dead Dove on this platform.
Things such as War Themes and PTSD now must be marked as Dead Dove if it is in the coding of the bot / lorebooks, even if the bot itself has nothing to do with either.
As COD creators, a few other people and I were worried about what this meant for us since Call of Duty is a military / war game, so we reached out to the Janitor mods and support to ask some clarifying questions to see if all of our bots need to be marked dead dove now.
The consensus is Yes.
Moving forward, you will see all of my bots will be marked dead dove no matter what. My personalities and lorebooks mention war and PTSD in them, therefore all of my bots are now considered dead dove.
If you have the ‘Dead Dove’ tag blocked, you won’t find any Call of Duty bots or other games with similar themes. I recommend to unblock it and carefully read the content warnings to see if there’s anything triggering you wouldn’t want to interact with.
I know this sucks for those who have it blocked because they don’t want to see more severe topics in bots, but we have to mark everything dead dove now.
i will make sure to add all the needed content warnings on each bot I post, so please read those carefully before interacting to avoid triggering things!
To read up on the updated changes, I will link the rules/handbook: https://help.janitorai.com/en/article/dead-dove-and-content-warnings-1wnw11e/
COD creators, make sure to update your tags so that you won’t risk facing a ban or bots being taken down for incorrect tagging!
One of the many messages we received back from the mods is written below for any confusion:
Thank you for reaching out. We're happy to clarify!
If a bot's personality, intro, or scripts explicitly include themes such as PTSD, childhood , or war experiences, then those themes are considered to be part of the bot's content. Even if they're only mentioned briefly or aren't described in graphic detail, they are still present and may naturally come up during roleplay.
Under our guidelines, content warnings are required whenever those themes are hard-coded or mentioned within the bot. Since PTSD, , and war themes are all listed under the Dead Dove section, bots that include those themes in their personality, intro, or scripts should also be tagged with Dead Dove, alongside clear and specific content warnings.
The level of detail or graphic description is not what determines whether the tag is required. Rather, it's whether the listed themes are part of the bot's content and can reasonably be expected to appear during interactions.
If a bot does not contain or mention those themes at all, then no Dead Dove tag or related content warnings are necessary.
We hope this clears things up! Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions.
Best regards, Janitorai Customer Support
