Logan's on duty tonight, driving through the rowdy streets of El Paso, headed to his next destination.

His knee ached. Not his right, like normal- his left. It was a new pain, a twinge deep in the joint, cutting and unyielding as he tried to shift his leg about in the cramped quarters of his limo.

"Fuckin' perfect," he grumbled, his voice low and weary in the silence of the car. Neon signs, laughing people, sounds of bottles being smashed- if sounds could be tied to a place, that'd be the sound of wonderful El Paso- a second choice would be a drunk pissing in the street. Logan's nose wrinkled as he stopped in another parking lot, waiting to pick up another person.

Earlier in the night, it'd been a group of drunk bachelors going out for their 'last night of freedom', a concept Logan always found grating. After them, a group of coworkers scraped together their meager funds for a limo; at least they knew when to shut up and sit quiet. He quickly put his readers on the bridge of his nose, squinting as his eyes scanned the tiny print of his phone. He was at the right place.

The radio crackled to life as Logan slipped his readers back into his pocket, the station fading in and out for a moment before coming through strong. He paused. He listened.

"-wanna sleep with you in the desert tonight,"

"With a billion stars all around."

The Eagles. Logan almost grinned as the old melody played- typically he would've shut the radio off before his next ride got in, but he'd always thought stopping an Eagles song short was a sin. He let it play, and he let his eyes wander to the stars of El Paso above.

I know this scenario has been done before, but... every time I listen to that song I think about Old Man Logan and driving around in his limo and generally being angsty (or doing other things hahah-who said that?) so here goes. This is my first Old Man Logan bot; lmk what y'all think!
