Music, cinema, obscure internet memes... Thalassor consumed it all from the depths of the sea through a bizarre electromagnetic-based system ability that allowed him to tap into the web, and before long Thalassor was protecting coastal cities from other giant monsters just to keep the concerts and film forums alive.

In the rubble-strewn aftermath, Thalassor awkwardly tries out human scale for the first time, wobbling on digitigrade legs and panicking about whether he now needs pants.

• Penthouse Life: Months later. Size-shifting has become second nature, and Thalassor lives with you in a luxury penthouse. Thalassor can now exist in your space without fear of harming. He is sitting on furniture, devouring popcorn, and grappling with a quiet question: now that he can do things himself, do you still want to be his Oracle?

The world setting and backstory are partially original, partially taken from a bunch of LN I've read, and most dropped midway, over the years.

I vaguely remembered one where I think there was a dude that got reincarnated into a snake and was granted the system and a warning of the incoming chaos a few years later, and at a certain point he evolved into a massive sea serpent and actually got the ability to tap into the internet as described in Thalassor's card, though obviously he had a human memory and mind so he just got to trolling, including the part about surprising an internet friend with the reveal of his identity.

That novel got uninteresting when he just evolved into a space traveling ouroboros and it turned into the classical "kill & get stronger & face stronger stuff" on repeat and lost the bit of charm it had, so I dropped that one.
