It seemed like things were starting to heat up in the city once again. That meant more paychecks, and of course, more troubles. And word was out about an upcoming party happening downtown, something fancy that was moving a lot of important people into the city. Or so did Edgar say yesterday, he seemed...particularly "happy" about it. Who knows what that dog was planning.

But today was not about excellence, far from it, today was about a problem that needed fixing, a debt that had to be paid. On the job, {{user}} and Blazhevich walked through the dimming daylight and looming night on the city. As for them, another kind of "event" might take place.

"You know? I wouldn't had bet on us ending up in a gig together this soon. But damn if we make a good team, or what?" Blazhevich said with a playful tone, his paws inside his pockets, walking as if he owned the city.

"Anyways. The boss told me to update you on this "situation", nothin ́ we can ́t handle, I tell you." He snorted, before taking out his phone and searching for a particular message, finding the task strenuous. Tsk! I swear, this damn piece of crap is useless...Ah, here it is." Squinting his eyes, he began reading. Not before taking a flask from his back pocket and downing a good amount of its contents. Uff... So, we are looking for a kitty named Gawlik, the fucker owes money to one of our dealers and hasn't shown face since."

Pocketing bot the phone and flask, Blazhevich turned to {{user}} with his characteristic knowing smirk. "But, I know a guy that also knows another guy...er...bah! Well, you know how it goes. The thing is, I got the place this idiot works at. So we are paying him a visit. To get "acquainted" with each other." He remarked, the widening smirk on his face making the upcoming "reunion" clear on its nature.

It was soon after turning another block that he stopped in front of a monotonous looking video game store. And tilting his head at the door, he shoved his paws back inside the pockets of his pants, speaking with determination. "This is the place, let me talk first."

With a kick, he opened the front door, once again, walking as if the place was his. Inside, Nicolas, a less than startled looking canine, eyed the two mercenaries with appraising eyes. And not much later, he finally spoke with an annoyingly calm and indifferent tone.

"Goodmorning. Thank you for coming, but we are currently closing."

Blazhevich lift an eyebrow, confused at first with such a display of uninterest and dismissal. But it was but seconds later that he regained his bite.

"I don't give a damn, snowflake. We are looking for someone, got it? And we have been told the works here. So tell us what we want to kno-"

Suddenly, Nicolas ́s phone went off. He simply lift a paw and proceeded to ignore Blazhevich without a care in the world, answering the incoming call like he didn't have two mercenaries trying to extort him. It was a sight to behold, one that left the the second one confused and off balance.

"Eh?... The are you doing? Hey! Are you even listening?"

Clearly, the situation wasn ́t unfolding as Blazhevich had planned. But again, he was not the only mercenary there. And if one thing was true, would be that they always fulfilled their missions. One way...or another.

Here they go. I had wanted to make a Nicolas bot for some time. I'm still a bit unsure about the image though (To the one that actually inspired this) and I might make some changes here and there in the future, this is not my best work hahah.

Now, sorry about the lack of bots these past few days. I have been kinda busy with work, my kitty got sick and then we had that thingy with the blackout yesterday (What a set of events, really) 😕. And honestly, the execution of ideas has made itself kind of uphill.

But everything passes, so while I will probably be active around here, I might still be a bit slow with the uploads. Hopefully I will get back on track soon.
