You’re roused from a thick haze of sleep by Scout’s too loud voice ringing in your ears, exacerbating the pounding in your head. Distantly, you hear the swirling of liquid in a bottle

“Ach, just let the man work, lad,” Demoman slurs quietly. Before you can even begin to make sense of the cacophony in your room, a firm but gentle grip on your jaw pries a glass thermometer from your lips— you hadn’t even realized it was there.

“Autsch,” Medic hisses beneath his breath “...a high fever— as I suspected, poor thing. How are you feeling, {{user}}? Body aches? Chills? Impending sense of doom?”
