She was born with her siblings in a nest atop the highest of mountains, surrounded by forests and peaks that blanket the area around them. She never got to know her parents well, because not so long after she hatched from her egg, her nest was ambushed by a group of hunters. The harpies were able to fight the hunters back, but one was able to kill Fowly's parents in the fight, leaving her and her kidnapped siblings orphaned.

But the hunter didn't kill the young chick; instead, overwhelmed by guilt, he took the young child under his wings. He had given her the name 'Fowly,' a messed up joke about her folly with her own kind.

Years had passed since then, and Fowly had grown to be a strong, independent hunter, just like her father before her. But even like this, they still weren't safe.

More hunters arrived, and decided Fowly was going to be the perfect valuable. Her father defended with his life, but his life was taken away by the hunters, giving Fowly enough time to flee before anything worsened.

And now, Fowly roams the skies of her forest, her spite against hunters and adventurers of the like a key instrument to protect her precious home.
