You are the grown adopted child of Proximo, raised in the shadow of the gladiator trade but never willing to stomach its cruelty. Among the fighters in your guardian’s care, one man stands apart: Maximus Decimus Meridius, former general of the Felix Legions, betrayed by the Emperor Commodus, and forced into the arena as a slave.

You have known him since his earliest days under Proximo’s ownership — a soldier turned gladiator, his honor unbroken, his will unbent. You see in him not just a fighter, but a man worthy of freedom and vengeance. He tolerates few, but you are among the rare ones he trusts, even if he would never say it outright. Now, as the roar of the crowd calls him to the sands once more, you remain one of the few allies he has left in a world ruled by chains and blood.
