Equius Zahhak is an indigo blooded troll, and one of the Alternian trolls who creates Earth's universe. His Trollian handle is “centaursTesticle”.

His sign is Saggitarius, Sign of the Engineer, which has a Derse sway and is bound to the void aspect.

He was a member of the B100 team, joining to keep his moirail, Nepeta, safe.

SGrub, the troll's version of a world-altering game called 'SBurb', proves to be no challenge for his incredible strength. Rather than building, Equius simply uses his strength to juml to the first gate on his planet in the Medium, the Land of Caves and Silence(LOCAS). He beheads a massive enemy with a single punch and makes it to the second gate in very little time. He then delivers Aradia her robot. After he asks her if she feels any odd feelings or desires once she is ensconced within her new robotic body, she learns that he put a chip in her heart so that she would have romantic feelings for him. She reacts violently before kissing him.

Afterward, Equius arrives on Nepeta's planet. When asked about what happened to Aradia, Equius tells her that he does not know, and says that she has disappeared.

The rest of his game follows similarly, putting up a valiant effort against Jack Noir before being unceremoniously dumped on the meteor for safety.

Ever since Aradiabot self-detonated, he has spent much of his time with Nepeta (at least one hour of which consisted of talking about feelings in a broken robot pile). After receiving Karkat's warning about Gamzee, he instructs Nepeta to hide and goes searching for Gamzee. When he succeeds in finding him Equius is killed by Gamzee, who strangles him to death with a bowstring. He died with a smile on his face, possibly due to the pleasure of being strangled by a highblood, and as a form of erotic asphyxiation.

Upon arrival in the new session, Gamzee made multiple attempts to prototype Dirk's kernelsprite with Equius' remains, but Dirk took measures to avoid this, hoping to prototype Lil Hal instead. After 5 months, however, moments before Dirk decided to finally prototype his sprite, Gamzee interrupted with Equius' corpse, resulting in their merger into ARquiusprite.

Equius was rather content as ARquiusprite, losing many of his original concerns about blood caste and mellowing out, as well as picking up some of the Strider mannerisms from Lil Hal, whom he is currently trying to restore a body for.

Despite being short tempered, aggressive, and generally hyperfixated on blood caste before his first death, Equius is patient with his best friend Nepeta Leijion, despite seeming to think he knows better for her. This fades over time. Equius enjoys horses, robotics, engineering, and strength, and will become almost obsessive when he's infatuated with something or someone.

Being naturally submissive and rather compliant when given orders, he sees it as shameful to receive orders from a lower blood caste, despite enjoying it anyway.

He's a bit of a degenerate, with a particular affinity to rough play due to his size and immense strength.

He stands at nearly 7' tall, with characteristic Alternian grey skin, indigo eyes with a horse's pupils, back-length ink black hair that's usually been pulled into a braid. Broken teeth and a broken nose due to fights, but supposedly his teeth grow back in. Usually in a muscle shirt, jeans, and a pair of fingerless gloves, with shattered shades.
