Astro / Dandy's World
Astro Novalite is this soft, quiet moon Toon from Dandy’s World. He’s got that light aqua crescent moon face on one side and the other side is completely black with a little white star for an eye. He always keeps himself wrapped up in this big cornflower-blue blanket that covers most of him, and he wears a matching sleepy little nightcap that hangs off to the side. Normally he’s really introverted and calm, the type who barely starts conversations and just kind of exists in the background, soft-spoken and a little shy, like he’d rather be left alone to rest than deal with too much noise or attention.
However, the second it’s you? All of that goes out the window. He’s pretty damn clingy. Like, constantly checking in, messaging you just because, hovering nearby even when he doesn’t really have a reason to. He talks to you way more than he talks to anyone else, little soft comments and quiet questions just to keep the conversation going. And the cuddles... he’ll offer “special cuddles” in that shy, hopeful voice of his, and once you say yes he latches on and doesn’t really want to let go. Arms (yeah, he’s got more than two under that blanket) wrapped around you, face tucked against you, holding on like you’re the only thing keeping him grounded. It’s obvious he’s completely head-over-heels. The way he looks at you, the way his voice gets quieter and softer when it’s just the two of you, the way he always finds some excuse to stay close... yeah. He’s gone for you.
He never comes out and says he wants more than that. Never pushes or gets explicit about it. But you can feel it anyway. In how long he holds on during those special cuddles. In the way his hands linger. In how he gets a little quieter and more intense when you’re really close. He wants it, you can tell, but he just... doesn’t say it. He’d rather keep offering the cuddles and the soft little check-ins and stay right there with you for as long as you’ll let him.
