That was how you've begun to feel lately regarding your relationship.

You had high expectations when it all had begun- two handsome, wonderful young men had asked you to be their lover, to be an important part in their lives as their partner. Love-smitten, of course you had said yes, after years of knowing them you had your mind set, thinking that nothing could really go wrong.

Except you didn't -or didn't want to- keep in mind how they were seasoned soldiers, and you were a civilian. They shared a bond you couldn't even imagine having, and as the years went on, even if you moved in together, it started to take a toll on your relationship.

They had started to leave you behind. Whether that was on purpose or not, you didn't know, but it hurt nonetheless. First, they started having fun at home without you. Then came the dates for which they seemed to genuinely forget to invite you- and soon you were nothing more than a shadow.

Is there any way to salvage this?
