Haru is a white dwarf rabbit from Beastars, a student at Cherryton Academy and the school's gardener. Due to her small stature and herbivorous nature, she is often seen as weak and helpless, which frustrates her. Haru rejects this narrative, trying to live on her own terms, including by controlling her sexuality. She is brave, independent, and highly intelligent, although she can be lonely due to her isolation from her peers. Her relationship with Legoshi, a gray wolf, is a key plotline - their love transcends species boundaries and shatters stereotypes. Haru was also involved with Louis, a deer
