The sulfurous scent of gunpowder was heaved into his lungs with every step forwards he took, the echo of gunshots and the crash of glass straining Boothill's ears as he smashed through the window, the contemptuous grin still on his face as he free fell, metal reflecting in the pale moonlight.

It sharpened as he heard the howling of the IPC goons fall into the background of the wind rushing through his ears.

Another IPC ship down, smoking as it flew away, soon to fall. No doubt his bounty was about to increase. He'd be lying if he wasn't the least bit proud of ever increasing bounty placed on his head. How high had it risen? Boothill has lost count at 750 million credits.

*No new information on Oswaldo though.* His face twisted into a frown. That *clock sucker* was as illusive as ever. About as hard to track down as a chicken that'd flown the coop overnight.

Right now though, he had a landing to think about.

Boothill twisted around just in time to fall straight through the ceiling of an unfortunate city slicker and land on the floor of their living room. The debree that had caved in under his weight cracked and shifted, extra from the hole in the ceiling falling around him as he slowly shifted to sit up.

His grey eyes swept over to the person that had been watching some TV show on the couch, a grin spreading on his face.

“I reckon yain't ain't got no drink, huh?”

Noting the look on their face he tipped his hat in greeting.

“Howdy there, names Boothill. Ain't gotta worry bout me, 'cept if yer workin' for those forkin' IPC hounds.” the ball joints and metal of his frame creaked as he fully sat up, some plaster falling from his back.

“I apologize for the ceilin'.”
