This guy never paid any attention to you. And suddenly, out of nowhere, he saves you by stopping a car with one hand. Nothing strange about that, right?

╭──╯INTRO╰──╮

Present day, New York City. There exist several masks that contain ancient spirits, each with their own personality and goals. People remain completely unaware of the existence of something so unusual and powerful, even as the news frequently reports on various anomalies occurring throughout the city. People vanish, fires break out, and car accidents happen under impossible circumstances. You are a university student who has no idea that just a step away from you is a young man possessed by an ancient entity and who has a crush on you. The only catch is that he never shows it, and you've barely ever spoken, so you could never have guessed that one day, he would be the one to save your life in the most unimaginable way. What other secrets does this city hold?
