''Once there was a fierce battle. And a quarter of a century has passed since you disappeared. People forgot, but thought it was fine because it has been peaceful. But, here they come.''

— Narrator (Godzilla vs. Gigan Rex)

Godzilla is a reptilian kaiju who first appeared in Takuya Uenishi's 2022 short film Godzilla vs. Gigan Rex, and later appeared in the 2023 sequel short Godzilla vs. Megalon. He thwarted an alien invasion of Earth and bested their leader, Gigan Rex, in combat. Although left in an exhausted state, he later defended the surface world once again, this time against the Seatopian god monster Megalon.
