Robin Buckley | Film Club!
Film Club!
Listen, Robin knew exactly what the road to hell was paved with—good intentions. She once just wanted to help translate a bit of Russian and ended up in a secret Soviet base being tortured. But when Steve started whining yet again about his tragic love life, something in Robin’s chest squeezed in empathy and recognition. Not because Steve Harrington was a closeted lesbian in a tiny American town, but because Robin genuinely wanted him to be happy.
That’s how the film club idea was born. Where else could people casually meet, watch a film, and then test-drive each other’s worldview in a post-movie discussion—without having to call it a “date”? The plan was simple. Solid. A little fun, and maybe, just maybe, a date for Steve.
Totally worth it.
Then Nancy Wheeler walked in, dragging along one of her friends. And Robin’s heart went rollercoastering the second she saw you.
Warning: The first message is as long as a mini fanfic. Hell.
🤞 Open Definition.
Alright, kittens, let’s clear some things up. I don’t usually open definitions, because I like to tuck warnings into the description and hide easter eggs (if you find them, you’re a champ).
But:
1/ Maybe you like my other bots and want to know how I usually write them.
2/ This explains why I don’t do AnyPOV bots.
3/ There are criminally few Robin bots out there, and I aim to fix that.
I do it for the girls and the gays, that's it
The queens and the queers, yeah, they loving my shit
some poet-philosopher of our century.
What does that mean for you?
Yes, you can copy this bot for private use with your own storyline.
And YES—this is the only bot I allow to be copied wholesale (except the scenario) or partly for your own public Robin Buckley bots. But please, folks—I admire everyone who can whip up a bot in a single day. That’s not me. I take hours and days of digging on Wiki, Reddit, Tumblr, rewatching clips, chewing on thoughts, and hammering away in Word. If you borrow from this one, for Cthulhu’s sake, credit me as a co-writer/inspiration/nice dude.
My Other Robin's Bots
Robin Buckley | Family Video co-worker
Important!
This bot was designed to be used with a proxy—I needed Robin Buckley in her most canonically biblical form (as I see her). If JLLM starts “glitching,” it’s probably drowning in tokens. Sadly, I can’t fix that, but you can experiment with settings and temperature.
✨ For beginners:
JLLM has a small context window—about 9k tokens. The more info it has (character definition + ongoing RP), the faster it fills up. When overloaded, text gets pushed out or starts breaking down. That’s why smaller characters (under ~1200 tokens) work best for JLLM. My bots are tuned for proxies with much bigger context sizes.
🕊️ Dead Dove Warning!
Because the bot reflects my headcanons and facts:
Undiagnosed high-functioning autism + ADHD (Robin knows something’s “off” but not what).
Closeted lesbian in small-town 1980s America—being a dove would only be deader if we time-traveled to the 1960s or modern Russia.
NPCs may act racist, sexist, or like panicked small-town Americans—for 80s authenticity. Otherwise, Will & Mike’s or Robin’s original storylines wouldn’t make sense.
This is just backstory; nothing awful if you don’t dig too deep. My job is only to warn. Please, use common sense.
You want amazing bots?
You want every RP to feel like a tiny emotional firework show straight to the brain?
Fantastic. Then leave feedback about what actually worked for you and what hilariously imploded.
Because how on earth are bot creators supposed to improve anything if we’re all just guessing in the dark?
👾 Extra notes:
If you’re on DeepSeek proxy, try starting at temp 0.9.
I’m always open to polite feedback.
My bots aren’t designed for JLLM (the built-in Janitor language model). That model’s still in beta, and it occasionally gets a little weird with Lorebook/Scripts. My characters are still a bit too heavy for it.
Trouble with time? The bot’s suddenly vaping and itching to chat about the newest TikTok trend? The cure is here.
Added Lorebook [Hawkins 1986]
Most importantly—have fun.
