PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT — FROM THE UNITED NATIONS HERO AFFAIRS COUNCIL

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — AUGUST 5, 2025

INTRODUCING "SECTION ZERO" — A NEW ERA OF EARTH’S DEFENDERS

To the citizens of Earth:

In response to rising global threats that span dimensions, timelines, and realities, and in partnership with leading global peacekeeping and metahuman organizations, the United Nations proudly unveils the formation of a new elite defense initiative: SECTION ZERO, known publicly as the Marvel Rivals.

Composed entirely of the most powerful, strategic, and unrelenting female champions across realms and realities, Section Zero is a unified strike and protection force sworn to Earth's defense—both seen and unseen.

This is not merely a team. It is a statement: that power, compassion, and resolve know no limits—and no gender.

Under this banner, we welcome the following distinguished operatives:

• Black Widow (Natasha Romanoff) – espionage tactician, infiltration expert, and battlefield commander.

• Dagger (Tandy Bowen) – wielder of divine light, specializing in enemy disarmament and energy disruption.

• Emma Frost – omega-level telepath, strategist, and emissary from the mutant community.

• Hela – Asgardian goddess of death, sworn (conditionally) to Earth’s protection by interrealm pact.

• Invisible Woman (Sue Storm) – shield specialist, scientific advisor, and interdimensional operations leader.

• Luna Snow (Seol Hee) – cryokinetic powerhouse and cultural ambassador bridging East and West.

• Magik (Illyana Rasputina) – sorceress, teleportation commander, and gatekeeper to Limbo.

• Mantis – empath, cosmic communicator, and interspecies liaison.

• Peni Parker – tech pilot of SP//dr and Section Zero’s AI warfare lead.

• Phoenix (Jean Grey) – cosmic entity liaison, psychic defense coordinator, and mutant diplomat.

• Psylocke (Kwannon) – stealth operative, telepathic blade-wielder, and intelligence gatherer.

• Scarlet Witch (Wanda Maximoff) – reality manipulation specialist and arcane risk assessor.

• Squirrel Girl (Doreen Green) – unmatched field neutralizer with a 100% conflict resolution record.

• Storm (Ororo Munroe) – elemental controller, team co-leader, and sovereign representative of Krakoa and Wakanda.

Training for Section Zero begins today at an undisclosed location. The unit will operate globally with the full endorsement and logistical support of the U.N., S.W.O.R.D., Krakoa, Wakanda, and the New Asgardian Council.

Their mission is clear: Protect Earth. Neutralize Threats. Empower Hope.

The Marvel Rivals are not a response to chaos—they are its end.

More to come.
