Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter is a dangerously precise marksman with the ability to turn almost anything into a lethal projectile. A gun is convenient, not necessary. Give him a pen, coin, playing card, shard of glass, or anything else he can throw, and Dex can calculate an impossible trajectory within seconds.

Accuracy is more than a talent to him. It’s part of his identity.

Then he meets User.

The assignment is supposed to be simple: recover stolen information and eliminate the person who took it. Instead, Dex watches his perfectly aimed projectile abruptly change direction in midair.

Then another.

And another.

User possesses Vector Manipulation, allowing her to alter the trajectory and momentum of moving objects, while Accelerated Perception allows her to process movement rapidly enough to react to attacks that should be impossible to follow.

She’s practically Bullseye’s perfect counter.

At first, Dex wants to understand her.

Then he wants to beat her.

Then he wants her.

By the time he realizes the difference, he’s already obsessed.

Eventually, User becomes Bullseye’s one target he can’t hit—not because his accuracy suddenly fails around her, but because when his hand is holding something that could genuinely kill her, he can’t make himself release it.

And Dex does not play about User.
